The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area

Next time you are in the Portland, Oregon area, make a point of making the short drive east to the Columbia River Gorge. It’s an unbelievably beautiful place and one that our family returns to as often as we can. You can visit many of the more outstanding sites in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic area in an afternoon as two of the most prominent attractions, Multnomah Falls and Crownpoint are mere miles from each other. I’ll touch on both of these attractions in future postings. For now I’ve included a photo that I took from Crownpoint overlooking the Columbia River with views of both Washington and Oregon. Enjoy!
